GENERAL STRIKE SERVICE MEDAL 1926
General Strike, Service Medal 1926 by E.Gillick, bronze, 51mm. dia., obv. seated figure of Britannia with hand holding laurel with emblems of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway and " For services in the national emergency 1926", rev., three draped figures with two locomotives resting on their arms, and "Largitas Mvneris Salvs Republicae". These bronze medals were struck by the Royal Mint and presented to those who had served on the Railways during the strike.
